date
program
The
program was to paint a continuous mural on two walls and
a ceiling, completing the architect's scheme of a floor,
which appears to have broken through to the lower levelpart
of a duplex office space accessed by stairs from below.
The mural would appear simultaneously as a 'shadow' of the
jagged floor projected on the walls and ceiling and as a
"kinetic drawing" constantly changing with the interaction
of the moving viewer and the space.

This
famous Art Deco building is a landmark. It appears
in the film Bob le flambeur. That's Bob (Roger Duchesne)
seen leaving no. 36 in the last image.
